Last week Kuiphuis Crane Rental took delivery of its third eLift crawler crane, bringing the total number of eLift models in their fleet to nine.
This latest addition concerns the SK2400-R eLift, which is known as one of the most powerful mobile tower cranes in the world. In addition, this crane can operate completely emission-free.
The delivery of the first eLift crawler crane took place in June this year, followed by a second model in September.
Meanwhile, the first two crawler cranes are operational on various construction projects, including a large infrastructure project in Amstelveen and the construction of apartments in Gouda.
Kuiphuis sees an increasing demand for sustainable construction equipment. The SK2400-R eLift's completely emission-free operation makes it a valuable addition to the company's sustainable fleet.
Bob Bruijsten, owner of Kuiphuis, shared his experiences with the first eLift crawler cranes and their future deployment possibilities:
"After we became convinced of Spierings' mobile crawler crane concept, we noticed that there are many construction sites where the eLift concept comes into its own. The battery in the crawler crane solves local grid congestion for our customer, while still allowing the crane to operate at full capacity.
The eLift cranes are ideal for projects in apartment construction, utility construction, infrastructure construction and (concrete or steel) hall construction. No construction site poses a problem for these cranes.
This third SK2400-R model crane, with a boom of no less than 50 meters, is very deployable for us on all possible construction sites in the Netherlands and even abroad. After delivery, the crane goes directly to the site to perform its work there completely electrically."
Mathieu Braamhaar, Business Development Engineer at Spierings, thanks Kuiphuis for their confidence.
"It's great to see our Dutch product making a valuable contribution to our customers' projects, both in the Netherlands and abroad."
