Last Friday, Bob Bruijsten and Koos Spierings reached an agreement on the purchase of a third electric crawler crane.

During the presentation of the first electric crawler crane at the eLift Experience days, it was decided to purchase a third SK2400-R eLift crane. Kuiphuis had previously ordered two cranes of this type, and with this order, Kuiphuis can replace its entire 'older' diesel fleet.

Bob Bruijsten, director-owner at Kuiphuis: “The current modern, yet older, machines have the latest Stage V diesel engines, however, the new class of electric eLift cranes is simply much more efficient for us as a crane rental company. Since 2016, we have been renting crawler cranes from Spierings, but recently we have seen an increase in demand from our customers for Spierings crawler tower cranes with these high capacities.”

Koos Spierings, CEO Spierings Mobile Cranes: “Almost exactly 30 years after the first SK345-AT3 at family business Kuiphuis, we are proud to deliver the very first SK2400-R e-Lift to Kuiphuis.”
