Last Friday, Bob Bruijsten and Koos Spierings reached an agreement on the purchase of a third electric crawler crane.

During the presentation of the first electric crawler crane at the eLift Experience days, it was decided to purchase a third SK2400-R eLift crane. Kuiphuis has already ordered two cranes of this type at an earlier stage and through this order Kuiphuis can replace the entire "older" diesel fleet.

Bob Bruijsten, director-owner at Kuiphuis: "The current modern, but older, machines have the most modern Stage V diesel engines, however the new class electric eLift crane is just much more efficient for us as a crane rental company. Since 2016 we have been renting crawler cranes from Spierings, however with our customers we have recently seen an increase in demand for crawler Spierings tower cranes with these high capacities."

Koos Spierings, CEO Spierings Mobile Cranes: "Almost exactly 30 years after the first SK345-AT3 at family-owned Kuiphuis, we are proud to deliver the very first SK2400-R e-Lift at Kuiphuis."
