From a dormer window to a 34,000 kg heavy turbine, a suitable solution for every job.

Last week, through this lifting operation, we were able to indirectly contribute to a cleaner world. We lifted this 34,000 kg heavy turbine into the structure of a biogas plant under construction.
This biogas plant will soon produce 8,000 megawatts of electricity per year in an environmentally friendly way. The released residual heat will be used to heat the nearby flower nursery.    

To lift the turbine into the correct position, we used 16-ton chain hoists and a 35-ton spreader beam.
Incidentally, we were also able to install the structure and lift various other components of the biogas plant on site.
