From a dormer to 34,000 kg turbine, a suitable solution for every job.

Last week we were allowed to indirectly contribute to a cleaner world with this lifting action. We hoisted this 34,000-kg turbine into the structure of a biogas plant that is currently under construction.
This biogas plant will soon produce 8,000 megawatts of electricity per year in an environmentally friendly way. The released waste heat will be used to heat the nearby flower farm.    

To hoist the turbine into place, we used 16-ton chain hoists and a 35-ton equalizer.
Incidentally, we were also allowed to place the structure at the site and hoist various other components of the biogas plant.
